About Us

ColdHeat™ designs and develops innovative, heating and cooling technologies that are then used in the Company's branded, high-performance thermal products and applications. The Company has developed and marketed the ColdHeat soldering iron through Direct Response TV ("DRTV") infomercials and retail stores, selling more than five million units and generating more than $50 million of revenue since launch in early 2004. Since November 2006, the Company has introduced seven new products in three separate markets: i) craft / tools, ii) pet products, and iii) outdoor accessories.

The Company currently sells nine products and holds more than 225 patents and trademarks (issued and pending).

In late 2003, the Company introduced its first product, the ColdHeat™ Classic Soldering Iron. The soldering iron brought leading-edge design to an industry of typically bulky, cumbersome products. In July 2004, the Classic Soldering Iron was awarded the prestigious international Red Dot Industrial Design Award in the Tools category. With its innovative product offering, and a highly effective marketing campaign, ColdHeat has been able to significantly broaden the market for soldering irons to hobbyists, do-it-yourselfers and craftspeople, resulting in sales, as noted above, of more than five million ColdHeat soldering iron units since the product's introduction.

In 2005, the Company expanded its line of craft tools with the introduction of the Pro Series Soldering Iron. And in 2006, ColdHeat introduced its Cordless Glue Gun, the first high-performance portable, battery-powered glue gun.

Recently, ColdHeat extended its thermal technology into the pet products market under the Dolce Vita™ and Constant Companion™ brand names. The pet industry represents a huge market opportunity that traditionally has had few innovative product offerings. The Company's pet bed technology is similar to its soldering irons' heating and cooling technology, featuring benefits such as temperature control, portability, innovative designs, and superior quality.

The Company launched its first pet product, the Cordless Heated Therapy Pet Bed, in late 2006. In early 2007, in conjunction with Orvis, a leading catalog retailer, ColdHeat co-developed three additional therapy pet products: i) the Heated Pet Bed; ii) the Heated Cargo Bed; and iii) the Heated Back Seat Cover. The products were introduced in Orvis' March 2007 catalog. Also, in July 2007, the Company became the first to market with a cooled and heated pet bed, the DuoTemp™ Therapy Pet Bed. The DuoTemp utilizes thermoelectric technology, a new innovation for the pet industry. ColdHeat's pet products are available through leading national retailers, such as PETCO and Orvis, as well as through its website, at www.dolcevitapets.com.

The Company launched its first outdoor accessories product, the Cordless Heated Seat, in late 2006. The Cordless Heated Seat has market appeal for outdoor recreational activities and sporting events.
