How to Make a Corkboard

Looking for an organizational tool or a rainy day activity? How about both? As a creative-to-a-fault fella, I love crafty projects but my office is in constant disarray as a result. To kill two birds with one stone, I decided to check out this cool project: making your own corkboard using a ColdHeat Freestyle glue gun.

I got the ColdHeat glue gun as a Christmas gift and have since enjoyed coming up with creative ways to use it, so this seemed like a fun challenge. Plus I had all these extra wine corks rattling around from my Aunt Mildred's last visit (man, that woman puts a fish to shame.) I got started following the directions below, and in hours had garnered impressive results.

Using the ColdHeat glue gun I was able to transform my bleak board into a cool montage of family pictures, rainbow-colored reminder post-its, sports stats, favorite quotes, and more. I wasn't sure how using my new ColdHeat glue gun would compare to using an older model, but after hours bent over the corkboard I sure enjoyed the glue gun's nifty work light and its cordless capability came in infinitely handy when gluing from different angles.

If you too could benefit from creation with a touch of organization, making your own corkboard is a great way to pass an afternoon. And for creation without the neck-strain and eye-ache, purchase the ColdHeat glue gun here!
